Vintage Soviet mechanical wristwatch ZiM, manufactured by the Maslennikov Watch Factory (ЗИМ) during the USSR era.
This highly collectible timepiece features a robust, angular chrome-plated case with a prominent retro "Tank" / TV-style design that was highly popular in the 1970s and 1980s. The light silver-cream dial stands out due to its unique configuration, showcasing applied gold-toned rectangular hour indices and a beautifully detailed independent sub-seconds register with a rare radiating "sunburst/sector" pattern at the 6 o'clock position. It is signed with the cursive Cyrillic "Зим" logo and "СДЕЛАНO В СССР" at the bottom. Inside beats the historically significant Pobeda Caliber 2602 manual-wind movement with 15 ruby jewels, stamped with the factory caliber mark.
