Vintage Soviet mechanical wristwatch Vostok (Wostok) Komandirskie in the highly collectible VDV / Airborne Forces (Воздушно-десантные войска) military edition, produced by the legendary Chistopol Watch Factory (ЧЧЗ) during the USSR era.

This iconic military timepiece features a clean light cream / silver-toned dial adorned with the official blue-and-green emblem of the Soviet Paratroopers, showcasing a deployed parachute between two airplanes, a red Soviet star at 12 o'clock, and a date window at 3 o'clock. The watch is housed in a rugged chrome-plated case with heavy built-in crown guards surrounding the screw-down crown. It comes equipped with a classic bidirectional rotating bezel marked with black numeric countdown tracking scales and a bold red orientation dot.

The reverse features a legendary stainless steel ring-lock caseback deeply embossed with the custom engraving of a seagull flying over waves toward a rising sun and the text "ВОДОНЕПРОНИЦАЕМЫЕ" (Waterproof). Inside beats the robust, factory-genuine 17-jewel Vostok Caliber 2414A manual-wind movement, stamped "SU" for Soviet Union.
