Vintage pocket cigarette case produced in the USSR, featuring an exceptionally powerful and detailed high-relief artistic depiction of the world-famous "Warrior-Liberator" monument located in Treptower Park, Berlin, originally created by the legendary Soviet sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich.
The front of the case showcases the iconic heroic silhouette of the Soviet soldier standing defiantly on a broken swastika pedestal. He holds a lowered broadsword in one hand while protectively cradling a rescued young German child in his other arm. At the base of the monument, an ornate decorative ribbon scroll banner is embossed with detailed oak leaf and laurel flourishes. The entire central sculptural relief is set against a finely textured, dense pebbled stipple-pattern background that provides a beautiful matte contrast to the polished silver-tone finish and authentic aged patina.
The side locking mechanism is completed with a mechanical push-button closure.
