Vintage RAKETA (Ракета) mechanical wristwatch produced in the USSR by the Petrodvorets Watch Factory.
This highly distinctive Soviet dress watch stands out with its beautiful, deep black dial adorned with elegant gold-tone stylized Arabic numerals, slim matching hands, and an outer gold-dot tracking ring. The dial features the classic cursive Raketa script logo written in English for the export market and the Soviet Union State Quality Mark (Знак качества СССР) at the 6 o'clock position. Housed in a unique two-tone case configuration with a chrome-plated body, a fine gold-tone coin-edged bezel, and a silver-tone winding crown. It is driven by the legendary, ultra-reliable manually wound Raketa Caliber 2609.HA mechanical movement, which carries the official Soviet Union export mark ("SU") stamped on the bridge.
