Vintage RAKETA (Ракета) mechanical wristwatch produced in the USSR by the Petrodvorets Watch Factory.
This beautiful mid-century Soviet dress watch features an elegant, classic silver-white dial adorned with distinctive gold-tone Arabic numerals, matching slim hands, and an independent sub-second sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The dial is branded in English for the export market ("Raketa" and "16 JEWELS"). Housed in a round chrome-plated case with a contrasting gold-tone winding crown, it is driven by the legendary, manually wound Raketa Caliber 2603 mechanical movement with 16 ruby jewels, carrying the factory logo stamp and serial number 50278 on the bridge. The stainless steel caseback features the historic globe grid engraving and the Cyrillic word "Противоударные" (Shockproof), showcasing the durability of Soviet watch engineering.
