The front of the case showcases a stunning architectural landscape along the Moskva River embankment. The relief scene prominently features the iconic Vodovzvodnaya Tower (Water Tower) topped with a Soviet star, flanked by the grand neoclassical structures of the Grand Kremlin Palace, defensive fortress walls, and church domes in the background. The detailed stone textures of the embankment wall and the rows of manicured trees add a rich, tactile depth to the piece. This highly collectible mid-century pocket case carries a refined silver-tone finish with an authentic aged patina.
This vintage cigarette case has been restored: the metal has been cleaned and polished, minor touch-ups have been applied where the original finish was lost, and, if needed, the internal elastic bands have been replaced. The original aesthetics have been preserved, making it a great addition to any collection. The side locking mechanism is completed with a mechanical push-button closure.
