Vintage pocket cigarette case produced in the USSR during the mid-20th century by the renowned Zarya Artel in Odessa, Ukraine.

The front of the silver-tone case features an elegant engine-turned guilloche pattern of horizontal wavy lines that beautifully catch the light. The lower left corner is decorated with an exquisite ornamental insert executed in the intricate cloisonné enamel technique, using vibrant red and soft turquoise tones arranged in a classic floral scrollwork pattern. Within this colorful enamel frame lies an elegant oval medallion, hand-engraved with the original owner's stylized cursive initials, "N.V." The side locking mechanism is completed with a mechanical push-button.
