Vintage hard pocket metal cigarette case produced between the 1970s and 1990s, beautifully serving as a classic mid-to-late century lifestyle and status accessory.
The case features a sturdy solid brass frame structure finished with a clean, polished silver-tone border trim. The front and reverse main panels are wrapped in a premium, deep burgundy red faux leather (leatherette) covering that displays an exceptionally fine, organic textured grain pattern imitating natural fine leather hide. Inside, the case elevates its design by featuring inner metal walls entirely decorated with a premium circular brushing technique, known in watchmaking and high-end jewelry as a perlage pattern. This combination of rich maroon tones and a reflective, jeweled interior gives the piece a highly sophisticated character with an authentic aged patina.
This vintage cigarette case has been restored: the metal has been cleaned and polished, minor touch-ups have been applied where the original finish was lost, and, if needed, the internal elastic bands have been replaced. The original aesthetics have been preserved, making it a great addition to any collection. The side locking mechanism is completed with a smooth mechanical push-button closure.
