Original vintage metal cigarette case showcasing a magnificent cultural and architectural relief artwork dedicated to the world-famous Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. This highly collectible piece was produced in the Soviet Union around the 1950s by the legendary Lenemalier Artel (Artel "Leningrad Enameler" / «Ленэмальер»).
The front of the case features a highly detailed, deep high-relief composition of the historic Bolshoi Theatre building, showcasing its iconic classical portico, columns, and the famous Apollo's quadriga (chariot) sculpture on top, beautifully framed by trees and clouds overhead.
The reverse side is decorated with a stunning textured shagreen/grain panel, centered by an embossed tragic/ancient theater mask in high relief, perfectly capturing the spirit of dramatic arts. The interior rim retains the authentic factory oval stamp with intertwined Cyrillic letters "ЛЭ" (LE), representing Lenemalier's finest stamped metalwork heritage.
