Vintage Alexander Pushkin Monument Soviet Cigarette Case | Rare Metallodetal Plant M.M.P. USSR Moscow Embossed Metal Tobacciana

Original vintage metal cigarette case showcasing a magnificent cultural and architectural relief artwork dedicated to the iconic Monument to Alexander Pushkin in Moscow. This highly collectible piece was produced in the USSR around the 1950s by the famous Moscow factory Metallodetal Plant under the M.M.P. (Ministry of Local Industry / Министерство местной промышленности) administration.

The front of the case features an incredibly detailed, high-relief embossed composition accurately reproducing the celebrated statue of the legendary poet on its pedestal, which includes the micro-engraved Cyrillic name "ПУШКИН" (Pushkin). The monument is set against a atmospheric background of streaming clouds, framed symmetrically by classic fluted architectural columns wrapped in laurel branches and oak leaves. The base is beautifully decorated with an open book and ornamental scroll banners. Crafted with a polished silver-tone finish on a durable metal frame showing beautiful, authentic gold-tone brass highlights along the perimeters, this accessory is an exceptional artifact of mid-century Soviet literary celebration and metallurgy.
