The front of the case features a beautiful oval central medallion depicting a skilled jockey on horseback mid-leap, masterfully clearing a wooden hurdle race barrier. The background landscape inside the medallion is accented by an elegant light teal or greenish enamel fill, creating a striking contrast with the raised silver-tone metal figures. Framing the central scene is a bold, geometric Art Deco sunburst pattern with deep radiating lines extending to the edges. Made from high-quality nickel silver (melchior alloy), this highly collectible mid-century piece bears the authentic historical Soviet hallmark inside: "АМЮ8МЕЛЬХ", indicating its production in 1958 by the prestigious Artel "Moscow Jeweler" (Moskovskiy Yuvelir).
