Vintage pocket cigarette case crafted in the USSR during the 1950s, featuring an exceptionally detailed high-relief artistic depiction based on Vasily Perov's legendary 1871 masterpiece painting, "Hunters at a Rest" (Охотники на привале).

The front of the case beautifully recreates the beloved fine art scene, showcasing three hunters taking a break in a field, with one passionately telling an exaggerated hunting story while the others listen with skepticism and curiosity. Their hunting rifles and harvested game are detailed at their feet. Made from premium cupronickel (melchior alloy) with a striking matte silver-tone finish and deep patina that highlights the depth of the metalwork, this collectible piece was produced by the prominent "Завод Металлодеталь" (Metallodetal Factory) in Moscow. The lock mechanism is completed with a smooth mechanical push-button opening accented by a polished cabochon stone insert on the side clasp.
