This currency was circulated by the German authorities within the Reichskommissariat Ukraine to replace Soviet rubles. The design showcases intricate security borders, a distinctive right-hand oval vignette portraying a young local worker/peasant, bilingual German-Ukrainian typography, and the official eagle insignia stamp at the bottom center.
