A monumental piece of early Soviet monetary history: an original 1 Chervonets Banknote (Билет Государственного Банка Союза ССР), issued in 1937 during the pre-WWII industrialization era of the Soviet Union. 

This historical note is highly significant to collectors as it belongs to the very first series of Soviet paper currency to feature the engraved portrait of Vladimir Lenin, created by master engraver P.S. Ksidias. The upper left corner beautifully displays the early State Emblem of the USSR with 11 ribbons representing the Soviet republics of that time.
