A historically rich collection of vintage postage stamps from the early Soviet era, capturing the transitional period of the RSFSR and early USSR between 1921 and 1923.
This philatelic set stands out for its unique historical themes. It features a quarter block of the early USSR Worker definitive series (based on Ivan Shadr's sculpture) with a period postmark, a rare imperforate horizontal strip of 5 featuring the 1923 airmail overprint design, and a dedicated four-stamp series from the famous 1921 RSFSR Famine Relief (Pomgol) issue depicting aid transport by train, steamship, airplane, and cart. All stamps are in Mint Hinged (MH) collection condition, with select pieces showing authentic period postmarks.

Features:

  • Set of 26 vintage stamps
  • Authentic RSFSR & early Soviet Union (USSR) issues
  • Circa 1921–1923 post-revolutionary and relief era
  • Includes 1 quarter block, an imperforate strip of 5, and individual singles
  • Features the complete 1921 Famine Relief (Pomgol) transport series
  • Showcases 1923 airmail surcharge overprints and Shadr's iconic worker designs
