Original vintage 500 Rubles banknote issued by the State Bank of the Armed Forces of South Russia (Вооруженные Силы Юга России), dated 1920. This exceptional numismatic artifact was minted during the final stages of the Russian Civil War under the administration of General Pyotr Wrangel.
This emergency wartime issue features an intricate green decorative border filled with complex guilloche work and repeating "500" value numbers. The central vignette displays the Russian double-headed eagle design modified for the Provisional/White Guard government (without imperial crowns). The note retains its historic signatures, including the Director and Cashier of the Rostov-on-Don State Bank branch, along with original serial marks.
