Historically significant regional currency artifact from the Russian Civil War: the reverse side of an original 500 Rubles State Note (Денежный знакъ) issued in 1919 by the High Command of the Armed Forces of South Russia (Вооруженные Силы Юга России - ВСЮР) under General Anton Denikin.
Popularly known among collectors as "Denikin Rubles", these notes are celebrated for their rich patriotic and historical imagery designed to rally support for the White Movement's vision of a "Great, United, and Indivisible Russia". The left side features a magnificent, fine-line engraving of an allegorical female figure representing Russia, wearing a classical crown, holding a scepter, and seated beside a heavy shield. The center frame displays legal tender text and warning clauses regarding counterfeiting ("Поддѣлка денежныхъ знаковъ преслѣдуется закономъ"), set against a dense green guilloche background.
