A highly significant and rare historical collection of vintage postage stamps issued during the turbulent Russian Civil War period (1919–1922) by various regional military administrations, White Army forces, and localized provisional offices.
The top row showcases highly sought-after issues from General Yudenich's Northwestern Army overprinted with bold red and black "Pochta Russkoy Armii" (Post of the Russian Army) matrices. The middle and lower rows highlight General Denikin's Armed Forces of South Russia (AFSR) provisional inflation surcharges applied to Imperial Russian definitives and savings bases. The layout is excellent for shade and base study, featuring paired duplicate overprints of the 70-Ruble, 50-Ruble, and 35-Ruble values alongside high-value 4, 25, and 50 Ruble denominations. Select pieces in this layout bear authentic period postal cancellations, while the rest preserve Mint Hinged (MH) collection status on the reverse.
