Historically significant regional banknote from the early Transcaucasian revolutionary period: an original 250 Rubles Treasury Bill / Bona (Боны Закавказскаго Комиссаріата), officially dated 1918 and issued in Tiflis (Tbilisi).
Commonly known among collectors as "Transcaucasian Rubles" or "Tiflis issues", this emergency currency was printed jointly for Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan following the collapse of the Russian Imperial administrative logistics in the Caucasus region. The exceptional design features a dark brown ornate framing filled with traditional Caucasian patterns, clusters of grapes, and birds. The center displays the mandatory legal tender text inscription along with the rare printed facsimile signatures of the Head of the Commissariat, Evgeni Gegechkori, and the Finance Commissar, Khristofor Karchikyan.
