Original vintage 25 Rubles State Credit Note (Государственный кредитный билет) dated 1918. Popularly referred to by collectors as "Pyatakovka" (пятаковка), this historic banknote captures a critical period of transition during the Russian Revolution and Civil War. 

The design plates were originally prepared under the short-lived Russian Provisional Government in 1917, featuring the classic double-headed eagle emblem without imperial crowns or regalia on the reverse. The note features intricate guilloche security frames, multi-digit serial numbering, and the text detailing its theoretical backing by gold coin reserves.
