A highly significant, rare, and comprehensive historical collection of vintage postage stamps issued during the turbulent Russian Civil War period (1918–1922) by various regional military administrations, White Army forces, and early Soviet authorities.
The top row showcases the iconic imperforate "Russian Post" (Russkaya Pochta) series used in the Baltic region by the Western Volunteer Army (Bermont-Avalov Army). The middle rows feature prominent anti-Bolshevik regional issues, including General Denikin's Armed Forces of South Russia (AFSR) "United Russia" (Edinaya Rossiya) high ruble values, Siberia Admiral Kolchak surcharges, General Yudenich's OKSA (Special Corps of the Northern Army) issues, and the Belarusian UPR detachment stamps. The bottom row completes the set with early Imperial Russian definitives and RSFSR hyperinflation issues heavily overprinted with the Soviet five-pointed star, sickle, and hammer. Select pieces bear authentic period postal cancellations, while the rest preserve Mint Hinged (MH) collection status on the reverse.
