This beautiful piece of Imperial currency is highly sought after for its exceptional artistic engraving. The left side features a magnificent, highly detailed oval portrait of Emperor Nicholas I in full military uniform. The top right displays the Imperial Double-Headed Eagle coat of arms.
This specific note represents the later printing of this series, featuring the historic signature of the last Imperial State Bank Governor, Ivan Shipov (Управляющій И. Шиповъ, in office 1914–1917), and carries the dual serial numbers "АС 255531".
