A highly specialized and historically unique collection of antique German official paper seal stamps (Siegelmarken), dating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century (German Empire / Prussian era).
These intricate, circular embossed labels were used by state departments, regional courts, town councils, and royal offices as secure paper seals on official documents, certificates, and state correspondence. The top row showcases prominent Prussian legal and governmental entities, including the Royal District Court in Insterburg, the Royal Government in Posen, and a scarce private legal notary seal from Magdeburg. The middle row highlights municipal heraldry, featuring a uniform run from the Town Council of Chemnitz alongside the Magistrate of Strehlen (Schlesien). The lower section completes the set with beautiful green and rose embossed variants from Hohensalza, Breslau, and the Royal Main Cash Office in Marienwerder. All seals are in premium unused Mint Hinged (MH) collection condition with sharply preserved embossing and crisp borders.

Features:

  • Set of 14 antique paper seals (Siegelmarken / official cinderella stamps)
  • Authentic German Empire and Prussian regional governmental issues
  • Circa 1890s to 1910s pre-WWI era
  • Features beautiful crisp embossing of imperial eagles, crowns, and traditional town coats of arms
  • Represents historic regions and cities: Posen, Magdeburg, Chemnitz, Breslau, Marienwerder, and Insterburg
  • Mint Hinged (MH) condition (unused, clean mint condition without tears or ink marks)
